I Don't Understand

I Don't Understand

Dear God
Help me
I don't understand
I try my best in life
To be a better man
But the drama in this world
Just wasn't your plan
You're always in our hearts
You're our biggest fan

Why is there evil?
It should only be good
If i had the power to get rid of it
i surely would

No one's perfect
But we still do bad
Suicide bombing
It's making me mad
Planes be dropping
The systems pretty sad
Throwing money for war
Forgetting about the poor
Want peace on earth?
Then what's all this for?

You're teaching kids
The answer is to fight?
Well I for one
Believe that ain't right

Its the innocent who suffer
Life's getting tougher
Things being destroyed
Quicker than a blink
The world's ending
Sooner than you think...

Double Vision

Double Vision

Trapped
Like a prison
Don't see things clearly
Double vision
Jumps quick to conclusions
Sees what never existed
Optical illusion

Won't admit it
In denial
Court case
First on trial
Mistakes can be fixed
Memories not erased
Captured on file

Apologize
Put the pride aside
No need to hide
Get off the high horse
And roller-coaster ride

Make the change
Start today
Great things
Will come your way

The Ladder

The Ladder

I'm goin' a hundred
No highway drivin' ...
Memories on locked
Throw away the keys
Still decidin' ...
Contemplating
Mind's still flooded
Tsunami
Still concentrating

Decisions
Putting myself
In the right position
No intermission
No time
No stopwatch
Cause it keeps on going
Better late than never
Guilt, regrets ...
Will it last forever?

Then take those steps
The ladder
Endless climbing ...
I look up for answers
What's the right timing?

The heart's aching
Corruption
The mind can't function ...
Forgiveness is the key
Walk to the new path
What are you waiting for?
The answers lie ahead
Now open the door.

Round it up!

Kettlebell swings
Homerun and some
You thought I was done?
Squat down to the ground
End of first round

Round 2
Still lots left to do
Card tricks
And 52 in a pack
You're an ACE
Hands up
For them Jumping JACKS

Round 3
Between you and me
Pushups are key
And Dips I adore

Round 4
Muscles are feelin' sore
Chinups for biceps
Ab crunches in check

Round 5
Man, I hope you still alive
Time for Deadlifts
No pun intended
Its only a suggestion
Hope no one's offended

Round 6
Doesn't yet exist.
That will be all for today
So class dismissed.

Happy training!

My slow muscle up

I'm proud of my first muscle up! Still working on more bodyweight exercises (front levers, handstands etc ...) slowly but surely! If you believe you will achieve. All of these small goals are paying off :)

Calisthenics Progression

So I decided to change my workout routine. Been training for 7 years now and started calisthenics almost a year ago. Since my knee injury in December 2011, I feel more stronger and agile than ever.

I truly recommend trying calisthenics. You can even mix it with your weight training the sky is the limit.

Here's a video I made showing some workouts I do:

The Next Chapter

The Next Chapter

Ready, set, go!
I'm takin' flight
On the way to bigger things
See what life truly brings
Reached a new stage
Chapter done
Turn the page

I'm on a high
That I won't let slip by
If this were geometry
I'd use my compass
Get to Point A to Point B
So you C it don't matter.

Take it from the right angle
It ain't a mystery
I look at my reflection
After I split
That line of symmetry.

I've grown intellectually
Mentally and physically.
I'm switchin' up subjects
The past always remembered
But remains history.

Just too much

Just too much

MY MIND'S RACING
PROCRASTINATING
ALWAYS THINKIN'
EVEN QUICKER THAN I'M BLINKIN'

JUST SEEING THE WORLD AROUND ME
BEING TREATED LIKE DIRTY LAUNDRY
ITS ALL A MESS
AND AS THE TIME PROGRESS
WE SHOULD GIVE IT A REST

BEFORE ITS TOO LATE
CUZ ALL THE HATE
LEAVING US TREATIN LIKE BATE

IT'S THE END OF TIME
WE LOOSIN' OUR MIND
IT CHANGES LIKE THE WEATHER
A WORLD SLOWLY FALLING LIKE A FEATHER

ITS JUST TOO MUCH
FEELS LIKE A RUSH
OF PURE ENERGY
BUT ONLY U AND ME
CAN THROW AWAY THE FUSS
AND STOP THE CUSS
SO WE ALL MUST
JOIN TOGETHER AS ONE
SO ALL THE DRAMA
WILL ALL BE DONE
